Este mes he tenido la posibilidad de visitar el museo Hergé en la localidad de Louvaine-la-Neuve cerca de Bruselas.

Hergé, creador de Tintín, que en realidad se llamaba George Remí. Un dibujante fantástico y hombre polifacético, pues Hergé no era solo Tintín. Diseñador gráfico, caricaturista, dibujante, ilustrador, contador de historias, fue un artista con múltiples talentos y un perfecto reflejo del siglo XX.

El museo muestra la evolución de Hergé como artista y ofrece una muestra de los motivos que sirvieron de inspiración para el artista desde sus inicios.

Un museo que en definitiva es una fuente de inspiración para cualquier artista grafico.

This month I had the chance to visit Hergé museum in the town of Louvaine-la-Neuve close to Brussels. 

Hergé, the father of Tintin, whose real name was George Remí. A fantastic draftsman and multifaceted man, since Hergé was not just Tintin. Graphic designer, cartoonist, illustrator, storyteller, was an artist with multiple talents that was a perfect reflection of the twentieth century. 

The museum shows the evolution of Hergé as an artist and offers a sample of those motifs that were a source of inspiration to the artists from the beginning. 

A museum that is definitely a source of inspiration for any graphic artist.
