Bueno, pues este mes hemos podido disfrutar de nuevo de la Semana Santa de Granada, declarada Fiesta de Interés Turístico Internacional en 2007.

El ambiente que se vive en las calles de Granada con la presencia de las Hermandades, Cofradías y los distintos Pasos de Misterio, es memorable.

Así como también lo es comprobar la increíble cantidad de gente joven que vive y siente la Semana Santa, acompañando con respeto y recogimiento a las imágenes que procesionan, todo ello en un marco incomparable como es la ciudad de Granada.

Por las calles se vive el fervor, el sentimiento y una tradición llena de vida que muestra la esencia cristiana de España y que transporta el sentimiento del mensaje de Cristo crucificado, muerto y resucitado.

Es, sin duda, un tiempo para el recogimiento y la meditación sobre el mensaje de Cristo resucitado, todo ello en un ambiente donde resalta el arte y la belleza de las imágenes. Todo un disfrute para los sentidos.

Well, this month we were able to enjoy the Holy Week in Granada once again, declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest in 2007.

The atmosphere in the streets of Granada with the presence of the Brotherhoods, Confraternities, and the various Mystery Processions is memorable.

As is the incredible number of young people who live and experience the Holy Week, accompanying the images in procession with the due respect and devotion, all in the incomparable setting of the city of Granada.

The streets are filled with fervor, sentiment, and a vibrant tradition that showcases the Christian essence of Spain and conveys the message of Christ crucified, dead, and risen.

It is, without a doubt, a time for contemplation and meditation on the message of the risen Christ, all in an environment where the art and beauty of the images stand out. A true delight for the senses.
