MARZO / MARCH 2020. LECCIONES DE ANATOMIA
Este mes de marzo de 2020 hemos conocido en España al coronavirus en accion y estamos viviendo la transformacion que este supone para nuestro modelo de vida, entre otras cosas obligandonos a estar confinados.
Ahora bien, el estar encerrado gran parte del tiempo y tener que ir a trabajar a turnos para minimizar contagios, da pie a disponer de una cantidad importante de tiempo libre, aunque sea en confinamiento.
Y este hay que gestionarlo adecuadamente aunque solo sea por el bien de la salud mental. Así que he desempolvado ese libro de anatomía para artistas, que llevo arrastrando conmigo por el mundo, pues ha llegado su momento.
Jamas pensé que pudiera coger con tantas ganas esta tarea. De hecho el conocimiento de la anatomia humana es la base para poder llegar a dominar el dibujo de la figura humana. De momento este mes he dedicado un buen numero de horas a esta tarea. Y cuantas mas le dedico, mas claro veo que me quedan infinitas más para poder empezar a dibujar la figura humana de memoria con confianza.
En cualquier caso, esperemos que el estado de alarma acabe lo antes posible y con la menor merma para España. Un recuerdo para todos aquellos que han caido y para sus familias.

This month, we have seen the coronavirus in action in Spain and we are experiencing a transformation in our life style, among others forcing us to be confined.
However, being locked up for a long time and having to go to work in shifts to minimize infections, means having a significant amount of spare time, even if it is in confinement.
And this must be managed properly if only for the sake of mental health. So I have dusted off that anatomy book for artists that I have been dragging around the world with me, because its time has arrived.
I never thought I could take this task so excited. In fact, the knowledge of human anatomy is the basis to master the drawing of the human figure. So far, I have dedicated a good number of hours to this task. And the more I dedicate, the clearer I see that I need many more to get to start drawing the human figure by heart with confidence.
In any case, I hope this situation ends anytime soon and with the least impact for Spain. A memory for the fallen and their families.
