Enero / January 2015. Lecciones de la vida.

Sin duda, la frase aquella de las legiones romanas; “Alístate y conocerás mundo” es una realidad, ha, ha… Quien me iba a decir a mí que algún día iba a pasar por esta ciudad. ¡Y por muchas otras que he tenido la oportunidad de conocer!

 Todos los lugares tienen algo que ofrecer y aquí en Bangui donde todavía están abiertas las heridas del último conflicto, el último de una larga serie que empezó casi con la misma independencia del país en 1960, también se puede admirar la grandeza del género humano, ver las ganas de vivir y sobre todo de vivir en paz que tiene la mayoría de la población. Y es fantástico poder observar a los niños pequeños.

 Niños que no tienen absolutamente nada, poco más de lo que llevan puesto, pero siempre te reciben con una sonrisa de oreja a oreja, deseando jugar, ajenos a la triste realidad del país. Y siempre, sin saberlo, dando más de lo que uno les pueda dar a ellos. Demostrando que siempre se puede ser feliz, independientemente de la situación que te rodee. Una lección que a los mayores nos cuesta un poco más que a ellos aprender.

Join the Army and see the wolrd! That´s a fact… I could have never imagined myself in this city. Or in many others that I have already visited.

 No doubt that every place has something to offer, and here in Bangui where the wounds of the last conflict are still open you can see the zest for live of the people, and their wish to live in peace. And it is amazing to observe the kids.

 Kids that own not more than that what they are wearing, however they are always smiling and ready to play. They always offer you more than you can offer them, showing that it is possible to be happy no matter the circunstances around you. This is a lesson easy for them but really hard to learn by the grownups!
